Cascading ribbon looks so good on a Christmas Tree, and there are so many ways to decorate your tree with ribbon. I have used ribbon to decorate my tree with ribbon many times. I have used small bows that I placed on pipe cleaners and stuck at the end of my branches, but I have always wanted to do a beautiful designer tree that uses large spiraling ribbon streaming from the top to the bottom. When I found this awesome Christmas tree ribbon decorating video tutorial by Hobby Lobby, on YouTube, it was exactly the holiday vision I had in mind for my new tree.
Materials For The Spiraling Ribbon Christmas Tree:
- 1 to 2 spools of extra-wide ribbon (wired ribbon is good, but not necessary)
- A pair of sciassors
- A pair of wire cutters (if you are using wired ribbon)
- A step ladder (to reach the top of the tree)

In this awesome Christmas tree ribbon decorating video tutorial by Hobby Lobby, on YouTube, you will learn to make this easy decorating idea in a few easy steps. You begin by tying a knot wit the ribbon near the top of the tree.
Then, you will just spiral the extra-wide ribbon down the tree, repeat this process several times.
This is a wonderful way to make an ordinary tree look amazing!
